Pushing Limits

Someone recently called me out on a painting I posted on facebook. Called me an experimental artist. I think he was right. I'm working on ideas I suspect might work, ones I'm not sure about. Pushing the envelope a little bit at a time to discover what makes my art tick.

This piece was an exploration between the tension of a lot of heavy paint and keeping an integral drawing. I think it worked.
